The Chevy Cruze is a midsize sedan that began life as a joint venture with Suzuki in 2001, but wasn’t introduced to the U.S. until 2008. It’s a versatile car that was made all around the world for different markets and produced in the U.S. between 2008 to 2019 before being discontinued. There’s only one generation for the Cruze known as the J300, and it was the replacement for the Chevy Cobalt. The car comes in a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback. The L trim package was introduced in 2015 and slotted underneath the LS as the most basic model available for the Cruze. The Eco package offered higher fuel economy ratings and a technology-laden interior. The Diesel package was the same as the 2LT trim level, but added a six-speed automatic transmission, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and a remote start.
