Changes Made to the Chevy Bolt for 2023

The powertrain generates 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, a healthy balance that will keep you on pace with other drivers on the highway. The Bolt EV’s propulsion technology enables the compact hatchback to reach 60 mph from a stop in only 6.5 seconds, and the vehicle has a range of 259 miles and 120 MPGe.
The Bolt EV’s power comes from its 65 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The automobile can add up to 100 miles of range with standard DC fast charging in only 30 minutes. Using a 240-volt outlet, the battery may be fully recharged in around seven hours. You can even enter a mode that lets you intuitively accelerate and brake with just one pedal , regenerating your battery charge along the way.
Chevy created the Bolt on a BEV2 platform. The BEV2 allows for a flexible “skateboard” design to easily fit battery packs of greater sizes, whereas Chevy is beginning to adopt an Ultium-based platform in its most recent vehicles. This far more efficient battery design concept is also a big part of why the new Chevy Bolt is even cheaper to produce. Safety Features
A variety of driver assistance features are both standard and available on the 2023 Bolt EV. The hatchback has standard automatic high beams, front pedestrian recognition, an optional 360-degree camera system, and rear cross-traffic warning. It comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, meaning you get automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, and IntelliBeam automatic on/off lights.
