The base engine provides up to 21 mpg for city driving and 27 mpg on the highway. With the 2.0-liter turbo, you’ll get up to 22 and 29 mpg for city and highway driving, while the V-6 offers up to 19 and 27 mpg.
2021 GMC Acadia Towing Capacity
Most Acadia models come standard with front-wheel drive. The AT4 features a standard active torque all-wheel-drive (AWD) system that is an option on all but the SL trim. An available traction select system for front-wheel-drive models offers Normal, Snow, Sport, and Trailer Tow driving modes. AWD models have FWD, AWD, Sport, Off Road, and Trailer Tow modes.
The basic GMC Acadia towing capacity with a standard trailer hitch is 1,000 pounds. However, if you need even greater capacity, Acadia models equipped with the V-6 engine and the available trailering package can tow up to 4,000 pounds. The package includes:
